I would proceed with caution. Trying to chase perfection can cost you a paint job. I would sit with your customer and explain the dangers of chasing perfection and offer him a much improved result without sacrificing much clear coat.
The only time I chase paint perfection is on repainted cars...
Honestly I wasn’t a fan of these compounds or polishes after trying these a few weeks ago. My biggest issue was also the Harder than should be removal. I was in a climate controlled work space.
I haven’t really been happy with any tire dressing lately. The old Blackfire (prior to PBMG purchasing Blackfire was my favorite. It was a solvent based gel that lasted months. It turned tires jet black without a ghetto shine. Wipe on, wipe off 10 min later and it was perfect looking with zero...
These are indeed awesome cars. True icons and anybody who is into car history will sure enjoy the reasons these cars were offered to the public.
Fantastic job and write up as usual!
Question for you Mike about the polishes….. when I use a compound or polish, it is a liberal amount. At 40$ for...

2nd I never clay unless at least 1 step of polishing is done. Trust me, you will get a vehicle with soft paint at one point and mar the crap out of it no matter what clay you use.
3rd Any...
Th PO85RD is 3800. I like and still use that as a super fine or Jeweling polish.
I gave up on the rest of the line years ago after they constantly changed names and formulas. As soon as I would figure out a polish/compound, they would change it or rename it
So many other companies that make...
Since Mike has some pull…… I’m curious as to what products you would like to see from 3D that are not available currently. I use some 3D products and find most of them to be a great value while being very effective.
