You can use CSL/Exo on the wheels but keep in mind it may not last long compared to a dedicated wheel coating. It will work if that is what you have. A dedicated wheel coating will have a higher temperature resistance.

That haze is high spots from not leveling the coating and letting it sit too long. A coatings flash times is dependent on the humidity and temperature. You would need to polish and re-coat. I never used mineral spirits...
If you are planning to go cordless get the CBEAST. The XFE doesn't have the cutting power and is more for finishing. You get 2 batteries with the CBEAST and that is plenty. Keep the PC for finishing until you pick up the XFE at a later time.
No need to wash with Dawn. A regular car soap will work just fine. If anything you can add a little APC to the soap to increase the cleaning power. No need to get caught up in the stripping anything off. The polishing process will do that for you.
