This was a treat working on this car. First single stage paint I have ever done. The paint was hammered and Customer just wanted a single step correction.

I started with NSP 95, blue hdo pad, and 21mm. It did well, however I wanted a little more cut, so switched to 3D one and went to work.

I tried NSP 150 to see if I could do a one step with it, didn’t have a good experience, need more time with it. I’m not sure if I didn’t work it long enough or used to much. Would be nice if NSP 150 was as easy to work with as NSP 95.

I also polished plastic window with NSP 95 to give a good cleaning. Didn’t get a good before and after on window, didn’t really think about it.

Thank you, Mike, for your videos to give me confidence to do this, also your class to working on classic cars!

Wow! The paint looks liquid wet. Nice work.

Me personally, I normally much prefer to work on classic Detroit Iron, without any of the stupid plastic trim found on modern cars. And I love working on vintage single stage paint. As your pictures show, old single stage paint really glosses-up.

Thanks for sharing!
