Does your Ibird Nano get smoking hot?

was polishing out a door panel the other day and after almost a full charge of use my iBIRD WAS SO HOT IT WAS HARD TO HOLD IT.

I have not used a iBrid polisher for a few years but I don't remember them ever getting so hot I could not hold one in my hand?

I prefer the long neck model in rotary mode for doing surgical style paint correction. When I detailed this old 2-door European job a few years ago I used the RUPES iBrid for an extended time as there was a LOT of oxidation in the original single stage paint and again - I don't remember it getting hot or even too hot.
