February 3-Day Detailing Class - Topics and Training Cars & Boats
Here at Dr. Beasel's FoD or Future of Detailing Classes, we show you the actual cars and boats you'll be training on BEFORE you sign-up for any class. No one else in the industry does this and in most cases it's because there are no training cars or boats, there's PowerPoint presentations and demo hoods.
Here's the training cars for this class and this list will be updated as we confirm cars and the boats.
Friday Topics
Day 1 Morning Class Session: Multiple-Step Paint Correction & Ceramic Coatings -
1958 Chevy Impala
The paint on this care is extremely neglected and oxidized. This will make a GREAT training car for how to do 2-step paint correction and ceramic coatings starting out learning how to use the rotary polisher!
2014 Mercedes-Benz E 350
This is a daily driver with normal swirling, water spots and HOLOGRAMS! Black paint is always the truest test of abrasive technology. This will be a GREAT training car for paint correction and ceramic coatings.
HOLOGRAMS!
Day 1 Mid-afternoon class session: One-step Paint Correction & Ceramic Coatings
1939 Cadillac 2-door Coupe
This Cadillac Streetrod has random swirls and arc scratches plus water spots in the basecoat/clearcoat finish.
1996 Corvette Grand Sport
I have not seen this car in person but I've been told she's all swirled out and the factory paint for C4 Corvettes is historically VERY HARD!
Day 1: Late-afternoon class session: One-step Ceramic AIO Detail
Here's the training cars for this class. This will be a unique class in that 2 of the cars are tribute cars to classic Police TV Shows. The first car is a 1976 Ford Grand Torino from the TV show Starsky & Hutch. The second car is a 1961 Plymouth Fury from the TV show Car 54, Where are you?
