Pad stalling is always and will always be the downside of any brand or orbit stroke free spinning random orbital polishers.

I put a lot of emphasis in our classes showing how to use the gear-driven orbital polishers because in the big picture, they are faster overall and there's no Brain Drain. I hate the brain drain aspect of always having to LOOK to see if the pad is rotating/oscillating or simply stalling out.

But... that's just me. I like to go fast, kind of like Ricky Bobby.
