I just detailed a 2021 Dodge Durango. It has the impossible carpet. For those of you who don’t know, I just detail on side and have not been doing it very long.

The pic looks good, but there was still some embedded dirt I couldn’t remove. What are some ways to remove some that embedded sand, dog hair, etc effectively without tearing the fibers apart?

The back of the seat was already fraying from owner having dogs and had some kind of blanket with Velcro backing on it.

I used a shop vac, I have tornador blow gun but air compressor had a hiccup today, I used a horsehair brush when I was cleaning carpet and microfiber. I also used a dog hair brush which does help some, but after all that I was still not satisfied.

Thanks Daniel

I HATE those trunk/tailgate carpets!

A trick i saw on the SkyNet was to vibrate and vacuum. I take my old Porter Cable 7336 and turn it on 6 and apply it to the carpet and it bounces and vibrates the s*** out of the carpet. Vacuum at the same time following the vibration.

Yup, it's a 2 handed operation but it sucks deeper and stuck debris. I also use a stiff bristled brush at times.

Just googled the Furr-Real brush...

I guess it’s worth a try. I’ve also seen someone using a muscle massager to vibrate carpet.

My daughter has one, so I guess I need to give it a try🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks for the reply.
