New windshield

I just had the windshield replaced on my car. ( thank goodness we had insurance,) was crazy expensive!) I was wondering what you would use on this windshield, and what prep work other than a good cleaning.

Hi John,

Glad to hear you have insurance.

A good general rule of thumb for any glass is after cleaning, (washing car or wiping glass clean), machine polish with any quality brand of automotive polish. If the product works great on clearcoat paint, it should work to remove any film or contamination ON THE SURFACE. Then you can coat or leave alone.
