I have a 32’ class RV that a family friend wants me to clean so they can sell. The gel-coat is really chalky and explained there is no way to fix that without sanding and compounding and polishing. Since they are trying to sell, they just want wash and waxed to look the best it possible can.

I tried to get out of doing and suggested other detailers, however they wanted me to do it because I have done other work for them. I just told them I’ll do what I can but don’t get your hopes up.

Any recommendations on wash process to remove as much of the chalkiness so I can get some wax or sealant to stick long enough for them to sell? Thanks

Daniel
