Swirl Finder Light

Good question. Looks good. Of course I use the sun for my Gold standard but there are limitations, lol.

I wonder what Mike uses ?

I have swirl finder lights from,

SCANGRIP - The pioneers in inspection light technology. Made in Sweden, I think?

Lake Country - My guess is these are inexpensively produced lights in a faraway country. But they do work well.

RUPES - After teaching the 2-day class with Jason Rose and Sara Colman-Lienhart, (both from RUPES) at the American Muscle Car Museum, I ended up with about 12 of the RUPES Swirl Finder Lights. They are a smaller style light and I'm not a big fan. To small of a pattern and not really as strong as needed sometimes. I also ended up with $24,000.00 worth of all brand new RUPES polishers for our classes. It balances the $30,000.00 worth of FLEX tools also in the Stuart shop.

FLEX - I have a lot of FLEX inspection lights for our classes, and these are all diffused lights, so good for seeing what you're working on, but not as good as a normal bright, swirl finder light.

And just for fun, here's link to the pictures from the class at the American Muscle Car Museum. This class detailed 6 cars in 2 days including wetsanding the 1962 Chevy Biscayne Pro Street and the 1971 440 Plymouth Cuda.
