That is what I saw and thought this tho if needs more than a wipe down.

I wanted to say I used that plastic bag trick and the area is smooth not rough.
Well if this is the only problem this morning it's not bad it's fixable!!!

Is this the same area / car you had done a repair on recently?

To me, the paint looks stained and not just topical, (on the surface), but whatever has caused the stain, it's migrated into the clearcoat layer of paint.

I doubt Paint Thinner or any solvent is going to remove the stain and restore the factory new appearance. My guess is you'll need to machine polish the area and cross your fingers the stain will come out.

It's from the shop.
I did try to use finishing polish on the area hand applied . I will call the shop tomorrow.
The stain did lift with the polish
I figure it's thier issue!!
