LIVE Online Detailing Class - How Dry Sand Car Paint by Hand

Thank you and Yancy and Dr. Beasley's. Is there ever a time to buff or sand on an edge/raised body line (maybe for a show car/concourse event?) and what would be the process? Also, would you consider the body line running under the handle on the drivers door to be a raised body line? It looks...

Questions about buffing pads for correcting/polishing by machine and hand

Questions about buffing pads for correcting/polishing by machine and hand

I wouldn't spend too much time or money thinking about hand polishing pads. You can hand polish with basically anything -- just might require a bit more elbow grease -- and I don't think there's much efficiency you can gain with pads unless you are doing a lot of hand polishing. My...

Questions about buffing pads for correcting/polishing by machine and hand

About hand polishing: A lot of times I have come across people hand polishing with wax applicators, which I'm not a fan of. Then again, a lot of machine pads don't feel great to use by hand (too thick, etc). To OP: Wishing you a nice time.
