Almost finished, I need to sand /polish out the new paint line , suggestions? 1500-2000 then polish out???? I will need to patch with some bumper resin To fill the scratch . Spot putty did not adhere. We are getting closer!!! After this is cured I will clear coat w/2k and use a blender.

Well Mike ! You were correct, the paint came out yesterday while I was wiping the area down before putting the clear down. I patched this this with spot putty. I will start sanding today, probably with 1000? I was ticked yesterday! My plan is to go to the auto supply shop and get a can of paint...

Not perfect but from 2-3 feet hard to see the imperfection. I used the rotary at 1000 -1400 rpm. No new paint peel.:-)

Got her polished out! Will wait to do clear coat tomorrow!

I spent an hour sanding today. So far I have put 6 layers of paint on this scratch . I am getting close to finishing the project! I am wondering if I need to use a wool pad to start buffing out the area? I will wait for the paint to cure. The light area is sanding marks from 2000 grit sand...

Stopped waiting for paint and spot filler to cure 95 degrees this afternoon so that should help with curing!

Had to use a bit of spot putty scratch was deep! Now I sit and wait!!!

So far so good!!! I am just letting the sand paper do its thing!

Oh it's been hot here ! 90-100 in the afternoons and I did put the car out in the sun earlier in the week!😀
