    Been using a G8 and G9

I appreciate the advice on a next tool for my collection. When I first got into this, you had given some great guidance to a friend who pointed me to you. I watch what folks do, and you've been the single greatest source of solid, sensible advice when it comes to detailing. I'm still learning...

    Been using a G8 and G9

you're not alone among detailers....it's why I got into this....i didn't want an otherwise competent detailer working on my bike if he sees it as drudgery and a chore....my thoughts were, if they don't love doing it, they're not going to do it right

2020 Range Rover SVR detailed by Mike Phillips with 3Dproducts.com and 3D Graphene Infused Ceramic Coating

It has likely never looked that good, including the moment it came off the production line i don't know if the blue book value would go up because it had been handled by MP, but it would in my book :) great job mike, thanks for sharing the results and the details on what you use to make it happen

    Been using a G8 and G9

I've learned to use a combination of abrasives, pads, and machines, and I'm getting good results, but I'd like to try some other methods. I started with foam pads, and dual action machines, as I'd learned they are a good for beginners. This is a few years back. Guys are paying me to make...

looking for gentile pre wash if such a thing exists

yeah, they're pretty proud of their products if you get my meaning it looks like you can mix it in different ratios with water and for $65 you get 3-6 one liter mixes it may be the best way to go for my LSP, but if there's a more affordable alternative i'm open

looking for gentile pre wash if such a thing exists

As an LSP on my bike, my first one was Gyeon CanCoat. After a bunch of miles and couple of years, I corrected it again and used Polish Angel's Cosmic v2 combined with their High Gloss. So far, it's held up really well, and since I've last detailed it, I've cleaned it a couple of different...

    A Vivid Black Trike

I'm new to detailing, but no so new as to understand a compliment like that. Yessir....it dripped and the owner was absolutely thrilled. I did some correction on some side panels of a truck, but this was my first full detailing job for money. :)

What are some of your other interests besides detailing?

If I'm not cleaning it, i'm making it dirty. :) My wife and I on The Tail of the Dragon. TN was cold in March, weather was in the 50's, but the ride home was memorable. The ride home was a straight shot from Deal's Gap to Detroit, only stopped for fuel, we did 700 miles in 9 hrs. It was...

    Hello From Eastpointe, MI

My detailing story is pretty short. A few years back, I started looking for a shop to coat my bike. I knew nothing about washes, decontamination, clay barring, correcting, etc. As I started to look into it, I realized: for close to the cost of what it will take to hire it done, I am well on...
