1964 Amphicar – Paintwork & Glass Correction - Extreme Makeover!

I recently detailed this 1964 Amphicar including,

  1. Sub-surface glass polishing to remove wiper scratches out of the windshield.
  2. Plastic Convertible Top Window - Machine buffed using a ROTARY POLISHER to remove decades of swirls and scratches in the flexible plastic.
  3. Hand polished all the louvers on the rear decklid.
  4. Multiple-step paint correction or as I call it - show car detailing.
  5. Installing the Dr. Beasley's Nano-Resin MX Ceramic Coating

Great work, cool car to work on!

Thanks Daniel!

It was a TON of work. Luckily I like this type of work.

First time I've ever taken a rotary to a flexible plastic window. Been using the BEAST and Porter Cable polishers for decades on plastic windows no problem. But this plastic window was the worst I've ever worked on and need the power of a rotary to make a dent in all the swirls and scratches.
