1996 F350

I rebuilt this 1996 F350 7.3L Turbo Diesel from the bottom of the tires to the top of the antenna 10 years ago when I was 18. Taught myself body work and how to paint on this truck.

Machinist by trade but good mechanical genetics went a long way with a good group of guys I call family. Automatic to 5 speed swap, new fenders, every mechanical component new or rebuilt, stripped the clear off original aluminum wheels so I could polish them which at the time was my specialty. Rebuilt both axles and replaced transfer case. Brand new interior 5 years ago and was running out of small changes to make.

Started wet sanding and buffing the truck with help from my grandfather about a month ago and got in touch with Mike Phillips early this week regarding some paint correction tips and techniques and I am happy I did. The orange peel and bugs that I tolerated for 10 years are nearly gone and the truck is looking better than ever.

Truck has never seen snow, salt or driven in rain!

Thanks for checking it out.

Nice working bringing this classic back to life.

According to my math, this truck is now 28 years old, so I think it qualifies as an antique?

Looks like she's good for another 28 years.

Thank you.
It is considered a “classic vehicle”
Runs and drives great and is cancer free so hoping for the best!
