On this car i repaired both rear and front wings, and the boot lid and hood. I resprayed only the front of the hood with base color and half the hood with clear coat. No one can find the clear coat edge though, and that is the impressive thing for me with 3D compounds, that you can buff paint edges and sanding marks out super fast. I usually dont paint just half a hood but i did this now as a test, and also because paint is very very expensive here in Sweden
