I've been telling others for decades now, the opportunity to restore original and/or antique single stage paint is a RARE opportunity. The fact that you are restoring the paint on this classic Caddy just took one more opportunity off the face of planet Earth.

The owner is LUCKY to have someone as talented and knowledgeable as you to do the restoration work.

Today...

Got the back and the front done.
Ran out of pads!! This never happened before.
Off to laundromat in am.

Still need to finish doors, lower front fenders and lower 1/4 panels.

The front. Was most concerned about getting that cleaned up. Paint was dry, cracked on edge of being unstable.

For anyone that did not pick up on the use of the word unstable to describe the current condition of the paint.
