Does a person need MORE than one polisher?

Mike, if purchasing The Beast, do you recommend the 25' cord over the 10' corded model?

While coiling and storing a long cord is a tick more of a paint than a short-corded tool, the answer is YES, I do prefer the longer cord when it's an option. This would be for me personally.

For our classes for example, I have a LOT of corded polishers and filling the tool racks with all the cords if all the tools were long cord, would be a hassle.

And what does 'HD' represent for the 25' corded model?

HD = Heavy Duty

My guess is, the longer, 25' cord uses 12 gauge wires instead of lighter gauges like 16 gauge. This is the key important aspect for a power cord or an extension cord.

I don't see HD for the 10' corded Beast, only on the 25' (when internet shopping).

Yeah, I'm not sure what the latest options are, just have to do your research.

Some people will purchase a short corded tool and install their own heavy duty longer cord. I did this for years, probably decades with my original rotary polisher. I quit installing replacement cords after wearing out the gears to the point they no longer engage enough to rotate the spindle. :_
