I plan to clean the glass on my ‘21 Toyota Highlander. I have read about people using a magic eraser with good results. Does anyone here have any experience using a magic eraser on their glass? Thanks!

I machine polish the glass on all the cars I detail and use whatever my first-step process product is on the glass. Usually a compound but sometimes a polish or AIO. This of course is for TOPICAL glass polishing.
To remove scratches, which is called Sub-Surface Glass Polishing - you must use a cerium oxide based polish like the new 3D Glass Polish.

I use a magic eraser on interior windows. Particularly smoker vehicles. They work great.
