Modern Muscle. Shelby Pedigree. Time to Bring Back the SHINE!
Next up: this
2007 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang Convertible! A collectible muscle car with a legendary name—and factory paint ready for some serious attention!
The class is putting
2-Step Paint Correction into practice, learning how to restore gloss and clarity while respecting the clearcoat they’re working on.
Our Test Spot showed this paint is on the
soft side of medium. We let the paint tell us what it needs!
Step 1 — Correct:
Dr. Beasley’s
NSP 150 with
Buff and Shine yellow foam polishing pads to tackle the swirls, scratches, and defects dulling the finish.
Step 2 — Perfect:
Dr. Beasley’s
NSP 45 with
Buff and Shine EdgeGuard soft, black foam finishing pads to refine the paint and turn up the gloss!
Pick your gear-driven orbital!
FLEX, Dynabrade, RUPES, Harbor Freight, or Makita—students get to experience different tools and discover their favorites.
These are skills you can use on your own car—or turn into a profitable detailing service!
No chairs. ZERO sitting. Real students doing real paint correction on seriously cool cars!
Here's Blake showing why we love the edge design of the Buff and Shine EdgeGuard foam buffing pads. See the close-up after this first picture.
The outer edge of the pad can correct the thin lip of paint on the top of the door and because Blake is using a GEAR-DRIVEN orbital polisher - there's ZERO PAD STALLING and of course, ZERO Brain Drain. Good job Blake!
