Rotary Polisher Training Car - 1979 Corvette
The FIRST tool you learn how to use at our 1-day and 2-day detailing classes is the Rotary Polisher. You learn how to do American Style rotary work, which means using a rotary with a whopping 8" WOOL CUTTING pad and of course, with Dr. Beasley's NSP CoreCut Primer.

SATURDAY Late Afternoon - 1-Step Ceramic AIO Paint Correction - Also known as a Budget Detail

1970 Plymouth Satellite Convertible
This car will be here in the next few weeks and I'll get fresh pictures. Owner told me it looks great in pictures but is completely swirled-out.

1949 Ford Club Coupe - 1-step Ceramic AIO
This car has a metallic single stage paint job and this type of paint brings with it very unique characteristics. In this class you'll learn how to buff out single stage metallic paint jobs without leaving Tiger Stripes, which is common anytime you buff the wrong way on single stage metallic paint jobs.

Free-4-All
With this car you can choose and use ANY of the orbital polishers to either test out or spend more time with.

Film Stain
When inspecting the paint, I found there's a uniform film covering the entire car, could be light oxidation mixed with years of old carnauba wax.

Wet Sanding to Remove Orange Peel - 1969 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible
This car was here for my July 12th class. This was a Barn Find out of California. I only cover paint correction and ceramic coatings in our 1-day classes, so while this custom basecoat/clearcoat paint job has a lot of ORANGE PEEL - we didn't sand the car, just corrected the paint.

So, this car will be back for the second day of the September class where you will get to learn how to hand wet sand and machine dry sand. Plus, use rotary polishers, etc.

These pictures were taken as the car was being loaded onto a trailer to go home after the class. If you look at the perimeter of the reflections, you can see the Orange Peel

This is the same picture as above, but I've cropped in to better show the orange peel.

Surface Glass Polishing
This car will also be here on the FRIDAY before the class for anyone that gets here early and wants to learn how to do Sub-Surface Glass Polishing to remove scratches in glass.
