Mike what is your opinion in terms of vibration compared to the older brushed model Flex XFE7-15 and Rupes Mark V15mm?

I'll try to turn them both on and run them over the paint on the 1968 Camaro and get back to you. I'll guess the RUPES is smoother. It's a strong part of their tool manufacturing philosophy, that is make tools ergonomic and in RUPES language, this means smooth with low to no vibrations and they are very smooth.

Because I rarely use these tools, I'll have to revisit.

Since we're talking orbits, I was thinking about this today, and I remembered that Dynabrade has come out with a forced-rotation polisher, if I'm remembering correctly Renny Doyle said he felt the 6.8mm orbit he/they came up with was "the best". I guess this machine has been out for a couple of years and doesn't seem to have made much of a dent in the market, at least I don't hear much about it.

Brian brought his Renny Doyle Gear-Driven Polisher all the way from Texas to use in the class. I tested it out myself and was impressed that it's smooth and powerful.

I did test it out while they were there but not enough to have a real-world opinion.
