Mike what is your opinion in terms of vibration compared to the older brushed model Flex XFE7-15 and Rupes Mark V15mm?
Thanks a bunchI'll try to turn them both on and run them over the paint on the 1968 Camaro and get back to you. I'll guess the RUPES is smoother. It's a strong part of their tool manufacturing philosophy, that is make tools ergonomic and in RUPES language, this means smooth with low to no vibrations and they are very smooth.
Because I rarely use these tools, I'll have to revisit.
Mike
Ouch, sorry Mike.Apologies, I'm still a little slow after returning from SEMA - I show why here,
Here’s breakfast and lunch traveling home from SEMA
Since we're talking orbits, I was thinking about this today, and I remembered that Dynabrade has come out with a forced-rotation polisher, if I'm remembering correctly Renny Doyle said he felt the 6.8mm orbit he/they came up with was "the best".
I guess this machine has been out for a couple of years and doesn't seem to have made much of a dent in the market, at least I don't hear much about it.
