Great results on that C4. I'm a rotary cut guy and Flex finisher.

    2024 Alfa Romero Giulia

Beautiful work, Tommy! Those 50/50's show significant improvement. Amazing haze and lack of gloss for 190 on the clock.

How to do a Test Spot using a Rotary Polisher

I saw both of those comments and, yes, agree with the first and disagree with the second. First, it's true you can encounter a section that doesn't respond "just like" your test spot but, for me, that's rare. If you do, simply adjust. Then go back to the tested conditions for the rest. I now...

How to do a Test Spot using a Rotary Polisher

Absolutely superb. 3 hours worth of solid advice in what...15-20 mins? Thank you, Mike. I am now 100% rotary for my initial cuts and then Flex 3401 VRG for refinement. I have cut down my work times significantly!

    94 Chevy Corvette

Try your rotary with wool and ACA 510 and don't be afraid to exert some pressure. You can always clean it up with your Flex, foam pads and a finer polish.

    Usefulness of foaming a car

I love my foam gun washes and let that clingy foam dwell a bit before LIGHTLY using my wash mitt. The key is very light pressure for my mitt.

How to do sub-surface glass polishing - LIVE Online Detailing Class with Mike Phillips, Chris Racana and Yancy Martinez!

Another superb video and something that i now offer to clients. 2 BIG takeways, folks. See how almost the entire vehicle is covered before starting? IMPERATIVE. You work this polish with frequent water spritzes and it will sling as Mike shows. If left to dry on uncovered paint it's like...

    Detailing Lights

I made a DIY light stand from instructions off the internet. I'm cheap like that! I like having a relatively small but bright stand i can move around the vehicle as i go. More passive than actively checking with a handheld light after i'm done with a section. I can then see the results...

Removing Holograms - LIVE Online Detailing Class with Mike Phillips

Unbelievable! Superb video. I never knew that about single stage metallics turning the pads black. Makes perfect sense. And to see The Master turn that thing almost vertical on those fake louvers! And with 1 hand at times!

    Removing Road Paint

For what this is worth, my wife had road paint in her pass side wheel wells about 8-9 months ago. Her car was due for an oil change and i always rotate her tires every oil change. While i had the pass side wheels/tires off the car i pulled out both wheel well liners. 2-3 8 mm's and about 6-8...

    1000 HP Jeep SRT

Of my ceramic coated clients i only have 3 on maint plans. All of them are "educated" on proper maint but few have me do it. The clients that don't come back want another correction and coating about once a year. The maint clients spend less $$ and push the 3 year limit before correction and...
