What are you detailing today?

I polished the single stage white paint on the roof of my FJ Cruiser. The main silver paint is clear coated though. I used Carpro Essence, later that night I gave it a layer of NV Lustre followed by Jet a couple of hours later.PSX_20230606_223227.jpg

Looking very good...even for an old two door Dodge and Pontiac!!

This Challenger is 1 of 4 convertibles that came from the factory with the white paint exterior and red vinyl interior. I'll get a picture of the red interior - it's striking to say the least.

Car is done but I'll be back to the collection to make a video on Monday to showcase the final results.

Single stage paint on cars like this is a tick nerve-wracking. I found at least 2-3 thin spots. I also documented all the sanding marks "the other guy" left behind and then removed them.

:)

This is my 2015 Tundra...reapplied multi layer coating to it. Of course, did the whole wash, deconning, (chemical, mechanical), correctio, and pre coat wipe down.

Picked up my wife’s E 400 Cabriolet on Friday after having a vinyl wrap installed then did two coats of CarPro Skin yesterday. Finished with the interior this morning so it is clean and protected from the elements.

This car was/is black and has a dark brown fabric top and a rich brown interior. The color combination just never “popped.” I decided to go with a rose gold colored satin wrap and do a chrome delete vinyl in a contrasting color. Looks more like a chick car now I think. The only thing I didn’t think about is how the wheels now look on the car. I think that a dark bronze colored wheel (maybe an inch bigger than stock) will finish this car off nicely. What do you think?
