In vBulletin, there is always and option (when you are logged in) to "go to first new post" in a thread, say a long one that you've been following, so you can pick up where you left off. I don't see where XenForo allows anything like that, am I missing something?

Yeah, I'm sorry I wasn't trying to make things more complicated, as you noted above it's sometimes hard to resolve if you have actually removed an LSP. I'll bear in mind how fine NSP 45 is since I'm itching to try those polishes.
