Thank you for taking the time to do this article. I really enjoyed it! The way you break things down into steps and the way you explain things make it very easy to understand.
I have the following questions:
1. Which do you prefer, a clay bar or one of the alternatives? Which is easier to...
Hello everyone
I have got some water spots on my paint protection film. I always wash the car, rinse, then dry with a leaf blower & microfiber drying towels. I assume the spots were caused by not drying the water off fast enough?
How can I remove these spots now?
Thanks, John Scott
I have what appears to be adhesive tape from a previous wheel balance job on the barrel of one of my wheels. The tape is kinda thick, and white. My wheels are black ( factory finish) and the white really stands out. Any ideas on how to safely remove this?
Thanks!
I just had the windshield replaced on my car. ( thank goodness we had insurance,) was crazy expensive!) I was wondering what you would use on this windshield, and what prep work other than a good cleaning.
THANKS
I m confused about the usefulness of foaming a car. If I’m just going to turn around after foaming and go through my regular washing progress, why spend the time foaming. But if I could foam, rinse and blow dry with my leaf blower, that would save time.
My car has ppf on entire hood, front...
There are so many car wash products available, and a lot of them are very expensive. I’m kinda confused about what to use. Both of my cars have a ceramic coating. Is a car wash product made for washing cars, ph neutral, no other additives ( wax, etc.) good enough? Or should I use the wash...
I m planning to have my car ceramic coated and have PPF applied to the hood and front bumper. One shop says to have paint correction done to the entire car, then have the PPF applied, then have the ceramic applied to the paint that does not have PPF.
Another shop tells me paint correction is...
I have bought a 21 Lexus with aluminum trim in the interior, console and door panels. I have never had a car with this type of trim before. How do I clean, and what can I coat this trim with to protect enhance appearance ?
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone!
I finally got around to cleaning my tires in preparation for coating. I used a cordless drill with a Aqua Soft carpet brush attached, and Tuff Shine tire cleaner.
I followed the instructions on the bottle, and from Mike s reviews and video. The product did not “foam” as much...
I’m going to be in Florida this September. Is that “love bug” season? I want to coat the front of my car to prevent damage from bugs. I have ppf, with ceramic coating on top of that. Any brand recommendations for me? I didn’t t see anything by 3D.
Thanks
I have posted about tire treatment before and feel like I have a good understanding of how to prep the tire for treatment . I have been researching what product I want to use on my tires after prep. The car is always garaged, and mainly used for just road trips. I want a matte finish, and long...
Mike I have read the review you did of Tuf Shine cleaner and coating. This was in 2018, on a orange corvette. I would like to ask you some questions:
1. Should brand new tires be driven awhile, or could I go right into my tire project?
2. Th kit comes with a applicator, you used a stain...
I plan to clean the glass on my ‘21 Toyota Highlander. I have read about people using a magic eraser with good results. Does anyone here have any experience using a magic eraser on their glass? Thanks!
I have ppf on my Toyota Highlander. The front bumper, complete hood ( edges were wrapped), complete front fenders, mirrors and all four door cups. The only place I can tell the film is there is where the fender edges meet the front doors, the fender edge is not wrapped, it ends about 1/4” from...
